This study addresses the dynamic link between language policies, practices and ideologies in the ‘Free Your Stuff Luxembourg’ multilingual Facebook group, generated to ease gratis consumer good exchange between members settled in Luxembourg. It tracks language policy evolution in a group easing interaction between people of various nationalities in an officially trilingual country. A shift from mainly English language practices to an equilibrium between English and Luxembourgish, and lastly a Luxembourgish supremacy are observed.
