This study on how humor is co-constructed and achieved in talk-in interaction amid speakers of American English and Tunisians acquiring English, reveals how interactional problems in interdiscourse humor, were solved via accommodation strategies, jointly employed to ease and mitigate communication and to settle differences and elude misinterpretation.
