Annotation

It is debated how writing in two political ad campaigns of rival Lebanese political factions in 2006-2007, was involved in a fight over popular sentiment rendering. Given the inter-sectarian nature of the political coalitions, religious symbols' use was insecure in coalition identity construction. Other discriminating aspects like class, consumption patterns, and behavior towards grief became primary in political distinction formation and were indexically shaped into this dialogue of signs.
