The empiric interdisciplinary model used here, blending linguistic discourse analysis with an ethnomethodological viewpoint, proposes an original approach of category organization in talk, to advance meaning construction in interaction research. It is argued that taxonomy analysis in sequence is helpful to explore chosen words in relation to their semiotic resources.
