Annotation

This study examines how Japanese massage therapy sessions’ procedural explanatory utterances are syntactically established in distinct sequential contexts and bodily designs, taking a request, proposal and notification form, whilst built normatively sensitively to the tactile orientations that attend bodily manipulations, which may constitute a resource for the therapist-client negotiation concerning the incipient procedure.
