Annotation

Using corpus data from the British National Corpus (BNC), textual factualization (TF) appears a regular technique factualizing initially interrupted factual proposition (both in written and spoken texts) via assertive reformulation or presupposition. TF is claimed to represent a kind of interference/misinformation effect (cf. Ecker et al., 2015), as it partly overwrites an initial memory trace.
