This ethnomethodological conversation analysis explores presenter-participant exchanges within PowerPoint presentations in workplace meetings. It investigates how participants orient to each other's expertise, what is achieved via the exchange and how the PowerPoint slide is entwined with the process. It is demonstrated how the exchanges institute the presentation as information distribution in which the intricacy of professional knowledge is exhibited and negotiated, and how the presentation activity orients to directive functions via the PowerPoint slides.
