Speakers of a Bolivian Spanish contact variety employ aspirates and ejectives, mainly on Quechua loanwords, borrowing, due to intense, lenghty contact, Quechua words and phonology aspects, to convey affective stances like affinity, humor, and anger, and for local identity-work.
