Annotation

This analysis of symbolically able bonobo-human interaction, employing the notion of conversational implicature, proves that interlocutor suppositions are decisive in fixing communicative intersubjectivity. The interaction takes the shape of a more shared activity, a property also displayed by non-standard human language subjects, like autistic children.
