Revising the insights of Noam Chomsky, Amotz Zahavi and Dan Sperber, this paper debates how and why each seemingly pictures language's apparition as theoretically unfeasible. It is judged that language is afoot, but for causes which no presently valid theoretical paradigm can elucidate.
