Inquiry on second language (L2) use across work, household, interest- and peer group in highly learned L2-proficient sequential Polish-English bilinguals in the UK, reveals that higher acculturatation entails more L2 use, even in private domains, and that acting in mainly L2-speaking social networks, entails more L2 use during informal workplace conversations with other L1-speakers.
