Annotation

This discourse analysis of US job interviews as moral accounting site for applicants, reframing their problematic moral identity as worker, enlarges Cooren’s ventriloquism theory by distinguishing limiting and licensing figures that reduce or raise discursive interactional power and adds to job interview research by exploring the moral facet of this institutional talk.
