Annotation

This case study of translating part of minority Maori voices in Patricia Grace’s short story “The Dream”, into Finnish, debates translation (tr) and attending comment strategies by second-year tr students, who appear more receptive to Finnish reader’s scant acquaintance with Maori language and culture (Mlc) than to the meaning of Mlc representations in the primary text.
