This paper proposes a functional variationist translation model (Theodoropoulou 2007), considering the common context and functions of individual illocutionary acts (Austin 1962), or intended meanings, achieved digitally, to do justice to translations of the multisemiotic style of the Greek indignants’ movement, Aganaktismenoi, used to yield a digital sense of their community and ensuing identities.
