Annotation

This paper examines trends in first generation migrant to Australia's community languages' upkeep in the pre-and post-1980 era, and socio-economic disparity as to the shift in their uses. Gender, length of and pre-1980 stay decrease upkeep, education level decreases home upkeep, and post-1980 stay, place of stay (esp. big cities) and linguistic community spread favor upkeep.
