Annotation

This study of pre-school child sex education picture books states that personification, domestication, and cross-experience metaphors are expressly employed for dealing with pedagogical, socio-cultural and ideological worries in the launch of sex-linked knowledge in Mainland China, easing young children’s grasp of scientific concepts and inculcating specific socioculturally defined values and moralities.
