Reader's coherence standards affect reading comprehension. The coherence sill (CS) subcomponent is debated within the RI-Val comprehension model, supposing finish of activation, integration, and validation processes irrespective of CS attainment. This continuity hypothesis underlies prognoses on processing effects' timing both before and after CS attainment.
