Strategic interaction manipulation embedded in neoliberal governmentality is labelled interactional straining. This practice was noticed amid adult learners of English in Yangshuo, which, via English-speaking outlander mobilization and commercializing English, has been luring Chinese nationals trying to better their English, the gate-keeping language in global Chinese workplaces.
