Annotation

Native Korean and Spanish speaking English L2 learners distinguish conventional and unconventional metonymy only in English. Midway skilled learners use native language transfer in grasping metonymic meaning changes. Total success in L2 metonymic pattern acquisition is observed in this experimental study.
