Annotation

Intermediate/advanced Chinese EFL/ESL learners oft distinguish synonyms via their specific collocates, choose synonyms (S) using the close interactional aim/context, increase synonym meaning/usage grasp as their skills advance (though use remains tricky), and low-frequency synonyms are hard to acquire. A common S learning path appears.
