Cypriot Greek phonological, morphological and syntactic variables overall cohere, and concurrently rise/fall, yet also rely on specific organization of extralinguistic elements like sex, age and schooling. The 'coherence’ concept's intricacy is confirmed, but not dropped as analytical construct.
