(Psycho)linguistic and social factors affecting immigrant L2 learning (Il2L) are focused on. Migration age and interlinguistic distance inversely match IL2L. Bigger immigrant communities lower L2 proficiency. Gender affects L2 oral skills and family especially impacts novel culture acculturation. Hence, local community, and (non-)governmental organization support is required for efficient IL2L.
