Annotation
While self-rated physical and mental health diverges amid foreign-born Latino (N= 1,627) and Asian (N=1,638) immigrant groups in the US, acculturative stress may not be the chief thrust behind these contrasts, but interfaces with definite elements of social support to singularly affect health by gender and ethnicity. Data stem from the 2002–2003 National Latino and Asian American Study (NLAAS).
