This grammar-pragmatics interaction study explores encyclopedic information (EI)'s role in the lexicon and in pragmatic utterance meaning construction. Some subtle Hungarian and Russian data surveys allow to distinguish various EI-kinds in mutually linked encoded lexical-semantic word sense representations and inferential utterance interpretation devices. It is the aim to explain as much as possible of those mutual links, constituting a new and auspicious understanding of lexical pragmatics.
