Annotation

Cognitive-linguistics need to enfold languages' social and pragmatic dimensions more earnestly. Vital components of an emergentist usage-based socio-cognitive method, the Entrenchment-and-Conventionalization Model (Schmid 2014, 2015), are proposed, to show how social and pragmatic facets can be incorporated and put into use in a cognitive-linguistic frame.
