Annotation

This study applies an overall micro–meso–macro approach to Estonian language policy and planning, exploring how micro (individual) language choices in daily student-staff exchanges in public and private organisations are parleyed within the macro (social and historical) context via linking meso-(political) practice levels, which also elucidate how the macro translates into the micro, which can oppose the macro (cfr. top-down and bottom-up language planning).
