Albeit Botswana's language-in-education policy indicates Setswana and English as sole primary school instruction languages, some pupils neither speak nor grasp them, causing communication troubles, which school management and teachers handle at (rural) micro-level, asking assistance from cooks, teacher adjuncts and learners.
