Four young Chinese Indonesians are shown to use their multilingual repertoires to diversely build their online ethnic identity in line with the social variables they face on Kaskus® and Facebook®, as broadly supposed by the mixed theories of audience design and Social Identity De-individuation Effects (SIDE), albeit these could not decisively clarify code-switching practices with equal ethnic others on Facebook®.
