Annotation

This study explores student teachers’ interpretations of intercultural communicative competence (ICC) in an English L2 classroom. Albeit students offer fairly precise ICC definitions, their views are affected by their chief study domains, viz. English, German and History at Wrocław University and their perception of culture's role in a language classroom is somewhat customary, based on cognition-oriented attitudes.
