Despite a 15-year long growth of Portuguese classes for Other Language Speakers (OLS), esp. adult immigrants, targeting educational and labour market entry, cognitive evolution, and Portuguese nationality admission, this OLS group (of which circa 9% had few or no education) did not obtain adequate attention in policy and institutional terms.
