Annotation

This narrative of the ‘international story’ of ‘Serena’, a Hong Kong translation (Chinese–English) major, who developed a more intercultural mindset when studying in England, reveals how her lived experiences and the subjective meanings referred to enhance realization of individual features, qualities, and agency that can ease second language acquisition and intercultural growth. Compared to her peers' stories, this narrativized account also indicates the influence of external factors on sojourn results.
