This paper proposes an initial evaluation of the radio as deliberative medium, predicated upon a case study of Let's Talk about It, a national radio program in Israel, aiming at offering listeners information, explaining issues from various and rival views, and producing a reverent discursive experience. The program's ‘added value’ is not information gain, but rather the offered discourse experience, and the radio was especially helpful in ‘imagination liberation’, sense of detente, and creativity it allowed.
