This paper reveals threat as a significant predictor of (305) Finnish (11 to 19 year old) adolescent’s prejudice towards Russian immigrants in Eastern Finland. Individually, negative stereotype was the only notable threat forecasting prejudice. No significant relationship was found between intergroup contact, prejudice, and threat (realistic and symbolic threat and negative stereotype).
