Annotation

This inquiry assays a model of intercultural readiness to communicate predicated upon ethnocentrism, ambiguity tolerance and sensation seeking between English and non-English major university students in Iran. A notable contrast was found between the two groups as to ethnocentrism and the outcome demonstrated that the model fits the data adequately. Ethnocentrism appears as strongest predictor of intercultural readiness to communicate for both groups. Sensation seeking only notably forecasts intercultural readiness to communicate for the non-English major university students. Also, sensation seeking and ambiguity tolerance significantly portend ethnocentrism.
