To add to research on the sport-politics link, the inquiry explores Jewish-Israeli stances towards Germany and its soccer team. It is disclosed that the 18–20 age group voiced the strongest hostility towards Germany, which may show that Israeli government efforts to imprint the Holocaust recollection in the young generations rivets hostility between young Israelis and Germany. The inquiry reinforces the idea that international sport games sit and expand rather than decrease international tensions.
