This assay both empirically and quantitatively backs the essential theoretical vision that there is a Matrix (ML) versus Embedded Language (EL) ranking in classic code-switching as portended by the Matrix Language Frame (MLF) Model as both Igbo and English do not concurrently meet the ML roles in Igbo-English intrasentential code-switching.
