Annotation
In a financially-limited yet linguistically varied South African primary health care situation, adjusting evaluation devices may be more fit than generating new ones. This inquiry compares results of the English Parents’ Evaluation of Developmental Status (PEDS) and the Northern Sotho PEDS (PEDS-NS), and defines language choice. Positive and negative high PEDS-NS correlation shows that the PEDS-NS is an exact translation of the PEDS. Notable connection (p = 0.021) is discerned between age and respondents’ language prediection.
