Annotation
This paper examines a current affair interview with a health expert informing on a novel research on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The distinguished narratives allow the assuming and alternating between diverse expert positions covering that of the scientific researcher, the advice-giving expert and the more particular identity of the public health clinician. Changes between these positions mirror the (counter-)assertions of interviewee and interviewers. These findings are debated for their implications concerning narrative usage in submitting science to media audiences.
