Annotation

This paper debates how Keevallik’s proposal that grammar is in some repects formed by the tasks and coercions of (collaborative) bodily action relates to a settled view of grammaticalization. Yet to truly aid the grasp of grammar apparition, the embodied action tasks to which it is opined to reply should be limned in less context-specific terms, and more notice should be paid to grammatical structures' apparition over time. Data are in American English.
