Discusses various aspects of the concept of 'meaning', e.g. descriptive, social, and expressive meaning. Beyond word-semantics (with its problems of the semantics of descriptive units in componential analysis) there is sentence-meaning and everything that goes along with the situational embedding and attitudinal implications in actual language use. There is no point in trying to draw a distinction between semantics and pragmatics.
