People often iterate what has been told in the previous turn to show reception of it. This paper explores iterations with the particle ne in Japanese conversation. Ne employed with iterations is a resource to modulate stances shown via iterations. Iterations with ne points out the received information is not novel or unexpected. Some details of utterances smaller than a clause are elucidated.
