Annotation

Open class repair initiators (OCRIs) do not itemize the trouble to be repaired. In international and multilingual settings, this constitutes a specific challenge. In these settings OCRIs are mostly handled as problem in hearing. OCRIs in face-to-face encounters are attended by embodied repair displays. Particular embodied repair displays relate to problems in hearing or comprehending.
