Annotation

During writing conferences, the teacher employed affiliative resources in the face-threatening interactional moments, which covered supplying critical feedback and expressing a directive. The affiliative interactional resources permitted the teacher to librate instructional and relational objectives. Talk and embodied behavior can be employed by teachers to supply feedback in less critical and face-threatening ways.
