This paper presents a pragmatic mechanism of expressives' perspective-dependence. Expressive content is ascribed to the most important perspectival agent in discourse. Expressive commitments de lingua are differentiated from at-issue commitments. A Lewisian scorekeeping model is used to keep up distinct kinds of commitment. The use rather than the meaning of expressives is distinctive. Expressives are pragmatically vagues, they unavoidably raise the issue of their fitness.
