Annotation

Represented speech can render auto/biographical information in early mild dementia. It supplies information about the speaker's identity repertoires. Such information may not be veracious, but is proposed as veracious by the speakers. Such represented speech is nearly ever direct represented speech. As a compensatory strategy, represented speech in dementia discourse aids to preserve relationships via conversation.
