This paper assays how medical doctors examined situational affordances when starting online medical consultations (OMC). It discloses a set of discourse features that discern high-rated OMC cases from low-rated ones. It integrates the value factor into pragmeme theory. It proposes that linguistic elasticity awareness may profit health communication training.
