Annotation

Women studying the Jewish Talmud in havruta assume the argumentative features of the genre. Most disagreements in women's havruta were found in equality conditions. Grounded and downgraded disagreements were discerned as desirable. Undesirable disagreements include fast turn taking, overlap, face-threatening acts. The paper employs a singular combination of micro-assay of conversations and interviews.
