Annotation

Faculty members of Taiwanese and American cultures meet with stress in intercultural academic meetings. Teachers from various cultural backgrounds employ various strategies to handle conflict situations. Senior foreign teachers occasionally employ the obliging style in conflict situations by admitting to the group in the interest of concord. Conflict situations can be improved by more cross-cultural comprehension of meeting codes, particularly by those in leadership statuses.
