This article points out and renders the forms of verbal emotive utterances that turned up in a longitudinal corpus of 11 Swedish children communicating with parents, siblings and friends. By ranking and tagging verbal expressions as emotive in distinct ways, it is asserted that people can gain a better comprehension of how language is used when interwoven with emotions.
