This article shows that in Galicia’s language shift-caused decreasing Galician-speaker pool, pro-Galician parents can play a notable role in the language revival process. It aims also to determine whether these parents’ grassroots level interrogation of the ruling Castilian discourse takes the shape of bottom-up language policies.
